The story of LAVANA begins with Moi Moi Fine Jewellery, Australia’s leading lab grown diamond and Moissanite fine jewellery store. Founded by sisters Lauren Chang Sommer and Alana Chang Weirick, Moi Moi has spent two decades crafting heirloom-quality fine jewellery designed to last a lifetime.
But between diamonds and everyday dressing, a new idea began taking shape.
“We wanted to create a new space for jewellery that is fun, more trend-driven and could still be worn with precious heirloom pieces,” says Lauren. “Pieces you could wear playfully, mixing, matching and layering without saving them for special occasions.”
