Shipping & Delivery
How much is shipping?
We offer free standard shipping Australia-wide on all orders over $100. For orders under $100, a flat rate will apply at checkout. Express and international shipping options are also available - rates are shown during checkout.
Orders under $100:
- $10.00 Standard Shipping (6–8 business days*).
- $15.00 Express Shipping (2–3 business days*)
How long will my order take to arrive?
In-stock items are dispatched within 1–2 business days. Standard shipping usually takes 3–6 business days within Australia, and Express takes 1–3 business days depending on your location. International delivery times vary by country.
Do you offer Express Shipping?
Yes! You can select Express Post at checkout for faster delivery. If your order is urgent, we recommend this option.
How will I know when my order has shipped?
As soon as your order is on its way, we’ll send you a shipping confirmation email with a tracking link so you can follow its journey to your door.
Can I track my order?
Absolutely. Every order comes with a tracking number. You’ll receive the link via email once your parcel has been dispatched.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we ship worldwide! International delivery fees and estimated delivery times will be shown at checkout. Please note that customs duties or taxes may apply and are the responsibility of the recipient.
Orders over AUD$500: FREE international shipping. Orders under AUD$500: $100 FedEx shipping feeDelivery can take up to 2 weeks, depending on customs clearance.
Can I Click & Collect my order?
Yes! You can choose Click & Collect at checkout and pick up your order from our sister brand Moi Moi Sydney or Moi Moi Melbourne. We’ll notify you when your order is ready.
What if my parcel is lost or delayed?
We use reliable carriers, but delays can sometimes happen. If your tracking hasn’t updated or you’re concerned, contact us at hello@lavana.com and we’ll help resolve it quickly.
What happens if I enter the wrong address?
Please double-check your delivery address at checkout. If your parcel is returned to us, we can resend it, but you may be charged a re-delivery fee. If you spot an error after placing your order, contact us as soon as possible.
Is a signature required for delivery?
Orders may require a signature on delivery depending on the carrier. If no one is home, your parcel may be taken to a local post office or collection point.
Returns & Exchanges
What is your returns policy?
We accept returns and exchanges within 14 days of receiving your order, for a store credit or exchange as long as your jewellery is:
- Unworn and unused
- In its original condition and packaging
- Returned with all certificates and receipts
Non-Returnable Items
Certain items are not eligible for return or exchange, unless faulty, including:
• Personalised or Engraved Jewellery (custom-made, etched, or engraved pieces)
• Earrings (due to hygiene reasons)
• Final Sale & Promotional Items (marked as ‘Final Sale’ or purchased during clearance events)
If your item meets these conditions, you’re welcome to request a return or exchange.
How do I return or exchange an item?
It’s simple—just follow these steps:
Email us at hello@lavanajewellery.com.au within 14 days of receiving your order. Include:
- Your order number
- The item(s) you want to return
- The reason for return or request for exchange
- Clear photos (if the item is faulty or incorrect)
- Wait for approval. We’ll respond within 1–2 business days with your Return Authorisation (RA) number and return instructions.
- Pack your jewellery securely in the original packaging, including any certificates or receipts. Write your RA number clearly on a note inside the parcel.

Do I have to pay for return shipping?
Yes, return postage is at your cost unless your item is faulty or we sent the wrong item. We recommend using a tracked and insured service to keep your jewellery safe in transit.
What happens after I return my item?
Once we receive and inspect your return, we’ll process it within 5–7 business days. Depending on your request, you’ll receive:
- A store credit (for change-of-mind returns)
- An exchange (subject to availability)
- A refund (if eligible and approved)
Refunds will be processed to your original payment method.
Can I return earrings?
For hygiene reasons, we can’t accept returns or exchanges on worn earrings. If your earrings arrive damaged or faulty, please contact us within 48 hours of receiving your order
What items cannot be returned?
The following items are not eligible for return or exchange:
- Custom-made or engraved jewellery
- Worn earrings
Final Sale or promotional items (clearly marked at the time of purchase)
What if my jewellery is faulty or incorrect?
We take pride in our quality. If your item is faulty or incorrect, email us within 48 hours of delivery with photos and your order number. We’ll arrange a replacement or refund at no cost to you.
I received a gift—can I return it?
Yes! If the item meets our return conditions, we can offer you a store credit. Just provide the name or order number of the original purchaser.
Do you offer refunds for change of mind?
For change-of-mind returns, we offer a store credit or exchange. Refunds are reserved for faulty or incorrect items or where required by law.
Warranty
Does LAVANA Jewellery come with a warranty?
Yes! All LAVANA jewellery comes with a 6-month or 12-month warranty depending on the material from the date of purchase. This covers manufacturing faults in materials or workmanship so you can shop with confidence.
What does the warranty cover?
Our warranty covers genuine manufacturing defects, such as faulty clasps, loose settings, or breakage under normal wear. If you believe your piece has a fault, please contact us and we’ll assess it.
What’s not covered under warranty?
Our warranty doesn’t cover:
- Normal wear and tear
- Tarnishing due to exposure to chemicals, perfume or moisture
- Accidental damage or misuse
- Lost or stolen jewellery
- Third-party alterations or repairs
What should I do if I think my jewellery is faulty?
Email us at hello@lavana.com with your order number, a short description of the issue, and clear photos. Our team will review and get back to you within 2 business days.
Will you repair or replace my item?
That depends on the issue. If it’s a manufacturing fault, we’ll repair or replace your piece at no cost. If it’s outside warranty or not a manufacturing defect, we’ll let you know your options, including repair quotes.
Is the warranty valid if I purchased the item as a gift?
Absolutely. Just keep your proof of purchase (or provide the order number) so we can validate your warranty coverage.
Can I claim warranty if I’ve taken my jewellery to be resized or altered elsewhere?
We recommend only using LAVANA for repairs and resizing. Any third-party alterations will void your warranty, as we cannot guarantee the integrity of work done elsewhere.
Jewellery Care
How do I care for my LAVANA jewellery?
Great question! A little care goes a long way. Always store your pieces in a dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Wipe them down with a soft cloth after each wear to remove oils and residues. Avoid exposure to perfumes, lotions, or chemicals — they can wear down plating or dull the finish over time.
Can I shower or swim with my jewellery on?
It depends on the material:
- Stainless Steel with PVD & E-Coating: Yes — it’s water-resistant and perfect for daily wear, including the gym or shower.
- Gold Vermeil (2.5 Micron) and Plated Silver: No — we recommend removing these pieces before swimming, showering, or exercising to protect the gold layer.
Pearls: Definitely not. Water and chemicals can damage their delicate surface.

While they need a little extra care (remove before swimming or showering), they offer a refined, elevated look that stainless steel simply can’t match. Perfect for special pieces you’ll wear — and love — for years.
Will my jewellery tarnish?
All metals can tarnish over time depending on exposure, but how much and how quickly depends on the material:
- Stainless Steel with PVD: Very resistant — it’s designed not to tarnish.
- Sterling Silver: May tarnish naturally over time, but frequent wear can actually help prevent this.
- Gold Vermeil and Plated Jewellery: Plating can wear down with exposure to moisture, sweat, and friction, so gentle care is essential.
Brass: Can tarnish more quickly, so keep it dry and store it well.
How should I store my jewellery?
Store each piece separately in a fabric-lined pouch or a soft compartment to prevent scratches and tangles. Keep jewellery away from moisture, direct sunlight, and anything that could cause knocks or friction. Pearls especially should be stored flat and never in airtight plastic containers.
